A NEW CAMDEN CLASS KNOCKABOUT
We’re proud to introduce STARSHIP – the first newly built Camden Class Knockabout to grace Camden Harbor since 1916. Designed by B. B. Crowninshield, there were only four original Camden Class boats built for the Camden Yacht Club fleet. STARSHIP’S owner had started building the boat in his yard in Alabama 15 years ago and then moved to Massachusetts, hauling the half-finished boat along. Eventually, the owner connected with Alec and moved the project to Artisan for completion and launched her in July.
