Having won both first and second place in the Concours d’Elegance last June at the Wooden Boat Show in Mystic, CT, we are proud to have been invited to display those same two boats at next month’s “Vintage Weekend” at the legendary Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, FL. The event is December 3-6 and is described as “an extraordinary gathering of those who share a passion for vintage vehicle, yachts, and planes in a community as exceptional and rare as the conveyances it honors.”
On display we will have FOXFIRE (above left image), a replica of a 1907 Herreshoff designed full-keel Buzzards Bay 15; and COLT (above center and right images), a new Joel White designed W-22 daysailer. These two boats were built by Artisan Boatworks in 2014 and 2015 respectively, and represent some of the finest examples of our craft.
