We’re excited for the upcoming Maine Boatbuilders Show in Portland, March 23 – 25. Alec Brainerd and John Snyder will be there with BESHERTE, a Buzzards Bay 18 built at Artisan Boatworks in 2013, and CHRISTY, a 2011 Hampton Launch built by Dick Pulsifer. Both of these boats are for sale through Artisan Boatworks Brokerage, are in perfect condition and ready to launch. We love this show because it’s a great time to speak with both new and existing clients about boat projects and brokerage opportunities.
March is coming in like a lion this year, but despite the nor’easters
and snow this week and last week, our crew is in full spring mode!
Our accomplished finishers are cycling two or three boats per week through our new paint/ varnish bay all winter long. We have availability in July and August if there are any painting or varnish projects we can do for you either here or off-site.
The carpentry crew is hard at work most of the winter building teak furniture, deck boxes, and exterior seating for a 130-foof classic motor yacht.
In the past four months the Artisan Boatworks Brokerage has sold MAGIC, a 1961 Luke Nielsen Gumdrop Yawl, KONDOR, a 1947 40-Square-Meter W-Class Spidsgatter, TOLLIE, a 1929 Gray Boats Lobster Cruiser, JOSEPHINE, a Landing School Haven 12 ½, and NIERIKA, 1990 26-foot Bristol Channel Cutter.
